Parking at the University of Washington:

Parking on campus costs $11 daily or $5 after 4pm. It is free during weekdays from 9pm to 6am and from noon on Saturday to 6am on Monday.
Before parking on campus, stop and purchase a parking permit from one of the gates in campus. The gatehouses closest to the conference buildings are:
    - Gate 5: 15th Ave NE & Stevens Way
    - Gate 1: Central Campus Garage, NE 41 St & 15th Ave NE
    - Gate 2: NE 45th St & Memorial Way (17th Ave NE)
    - Gate 3: Pend Oreille Rd. off 25th Ave NE & Montkake Blvd NE at NE 445th St.
At the gatehouse you may pay with cash or VISA/MasterCard. Prorated refunds are available for parking less than 4 hours before 4pm or one hour after 4pm.

Inexpensive parking is available in the large E1 lot (off Montlake Boulevard NE) for a $5 fee. Only cash accepted (exact change in $1 and $5 bills) and no overnight parking in E1.
Parking on the street outside campus may require an hourly fee or a permit.
Unrestricted parking spaces are available a few blocks away from campus.

Attendees are encouraged to use more environmentally friendly modes of transportation such as walking and riding the Metro bus system. The UW campus is a beautiful, walk-friendly campus that can be crossed on foot in about 20 minutes.
